¡¡HIPOCRESÍA Y DEPORTACIONES!! HYPOCRISY AND DEPORTATIONS!!

HYPOCRISY AND DEPORTATIONS!!

What hypocrisy!!

What an unjust and untruthful system!

For months now the autonomous city (Melilla) and those in charge of it have known perfectly well where the migrants from Bangladesh and India have set up their shelters for fear of being deported. They let them live in undignified conditions in shacks outside the CETI, following the migrants’ years of struggle to seek a life in dignity and peace—including many actions such as a collection of signatures from citizens of Melilla and a hunger strike—and they are now hunting them like criminals to be deported. Permitting some of them to leave for the peninsula with an expulsion order from Melilla is nothing more than a hypocritical act. I think that the authorities of Melilla are out of touch with the opinion of their citizens who expressed their views clearly with their signatures, as an act of solidarity and shared humanity with these victims of global climate change, which has destroyed the basis for making a living in their countries of origin. I hope that the authorities find a proper way in which to treat these HUMAN BEINGS.

A greeting in solidarity with our friends from Bangladesh,

Linda
