10:08 Las Fuerzas de Seguridad han detenido a unos 50 de los inmigrantes que se saltaron los controles, en este momento hay un importante dispositivo buscando a los que lograron escapar y están escondidos por la ciudad o, intentando llegar a Comisaría.
11:30 Nos llegan informaciones sobre numerosos heridos por disparos durante la entrada de los inmigrantes. Un testigo presencial habla de seis personas heridas en el suelo pegadas al borde fronterizo y afirma que el escenario parecía el de una guerra. ... Los disparos venían por todos lados. También nos llegan noticias de que las policías de ambos paises se acusan mutuamente de la situación que se creó y de haber comenzado a disparar.
Sobre la situación de los detenidos, heridos y posibles fallecidos no se da ninguna información a esta hora.
14:30 A lo largo del día se están produciendo declaraciones más o menos oficiales que están creando una gran confusión sobre los sucesos que nos ocupan y que contradicen otras informaciones anteriores que creemos más creibles.
Las últimas informaciones oficiales desde el lado español han sido:
1.- Intentaron acceder a Melilla 70 personas.
2.- Solo 10 personas lograron acceder a la ciudad.
3.- Seis personas están hospitalizadas como consecuencia de golpes recibidos (No armas de fuego)
4.- Un pequeño grupo permanece escondido en la ciudad.
Desde el lado marroquí se espera un comunicado oficial en cualquier momento, el Delegado del Gobierno de Nador está reunido con los responsables policiales de Beni Enzar y Nador desde hace horas.
Hemos podido constatar que en hospital de Melilla habían ingresado a 6 inmigrantes heridos por golpes pero que ninguno presentaba heridas de armas de fuego.
Hemos podido constatar que en el Hospital de Nador no se había ingresado a ningún inmigrante a las 12:00 h. Esto es especialmente preocupante ya que, personas que estuvieron presentes, afirman que aquello parecía una guerra y que se disparó abiertamente a los inmigrantes.
A esta hora ninguno de los que han conseguido entrar en la ciudad ha sido ingresado en el CETI de Melilla.

A group of migrants have been able to evade border surveillance at the Beni-Enzar frontier
Between 70 and 100 people were able to enter Melilla at about 4 am at the border crossing in Beni-Enzar.

10.08 Security forces have detained about 50 of the migrants who jumped the border controls; at present there is a key unit searching or those who were able to escape and are hiding in the city, or are trying to reach the Comisaría.

14.30 During the day a number of quasi-official statements have been made, which are causing considerable confusion about the events about which we are concerned, and which contradict earlier information received which we believe to be more credible.
The latest information from the Spanish side has been:
1. 70 people tried to enter Melilla.
2. Only 10 people were able to enter the city.
3. Six people have been hospitalized as a result of wounds received (not from firearms).
4. A small group remains hidden in the city.
An official communiqué is expected soon from the Moroccan side; the Delegate of the Government in Nador has been in a meeting with the police authorities of Beni Enzar and Nador for some hours now.
We have been able to ascertain that six migrants were admitted to hospital in Melilla with wounds received from physical blows, but none had gunshot wounds.
We have also been able to ascertain that no migrants had been admitted to the hospital in Nador as of 12.00 noon. This is of particular concern, because people who were present at the scene confirmed that it looked like a battle, and that shots were fired openly at the migrants.
At this time, none of those who were able to enter the city have been admitted into the CETI in Melilla.
